My wife hates the ride in our 1993 Ford Explorer XLT 2WD so much that I went out and used my 1/3 off coupon code to order my upgraded (beefier) anti-sway bars from www.carparts.com. They will be here in a few days and while I am waiting for them I was wondering if they are something that can be done at home in our apartment complex's car port, or if this something that needs to be done at the auto-hobby shop? I've been reading through my Haynes manual and there's not even 10 lines of instruction on the entire process (both front and back). Is it really as simple as the Haynes manual says? I'm a novice to auto work, but can learn from a manual without problem.

Thanks for your help,
Jayson

Having removed my sway bars a number of times I can say its pretty easy. The hardest part is probably if your bolts are rusted. Otherwise its a fairly easy proccess of just unbolting the old and putting on the new.
