I need to replace my front shocks. I have some Bilsteins laying around that I think might fit. Does anyone know what length I should go with with a 1.75" Torsion Twist? Also, is there an adapter out there that converts the stem mount to a standard shock mount?

For a torsion twist only, the stock length shock should work. You are not gaining any more travel. And there are adapters for the stem type of shocks. I think i may have some i can ship to you. But with those adapters (they are about 2" long), your stock length shocks may be too long now. I'm not sure.

The new shocks are shorter than the rear. Do you know what size the front stock shocks are? How much do you want for the adapters?

Sorry, i don't, but i'd bet you could easily found out with a quick search of the forum.

you can have a set of tabs welded in your shock bucket at the propper spacing by a welding shop faily cheap if you are not capable yourself. I mean a set of tabs from ORW are about $2-3 ea.

THe longest shock youll want in there is an 8. Anything longer wont work. You can measure the shaft length as they are fully extended and that will give you a very close figure of what the shock stroke is.
