does anyone have a spool in the front. I was thinking this could work with having manual hubs. let me know if anyone has tried this.

If you want a spool in the front (only God knows why) you would be better off just welding the spider gears. Same thing, but a lot cheaper.

Lock-Rite or EZ-Locker will work, cost a couple hundred bucks, and will probably be a little easier on those D35 shafts, u-joints, and hubs.

They aren't the strongest and I've seen people who have welded it up blocka lot of hubs.

I was just wondering if anyone has done it. seems like it would work, but yeah, it would put a lot of stress on the front. I would only lock one hub at a time unless really stuck.

i know some people have done this... try to search..

I wouldn't do that. I'd leave both locked. Then if you need to make a sharp turn, unlock a hub.

Then again, I'd go with a locker over a spool in a front application. Check out the boards atRRORC. There are quite a few people who have welded (spooled) up their front ends.
