i was looking into adding a full spool into my 8.8 in a month or so...

I asked a few other people on another forum and someon expressed some concern about maybe needing a c-clip eliminator kit, since it doesnt seem possible to put on c-clips with that spool.... so, does anyone know anything about this.. is it needed? if so, where can i get one, and for what price? I wouldnt mind just going with a mini-spool if needed, but a fool would make me feel more confident romping on the stupid pedal in those fun situations. thx in advance guys.
