I have a 93 Ranger. When you put the wipers on intermittant setting (any one) ,,, nothing and I hear a clicking noise from under the dash.. Hi and Lo don't work at all, no clicking either... What could it be ?? Multi-function Switch ??? Where is it located ?? Can I jumper it (which terminals) to see if I can get the wipers to wipe ...... Is there a website where I can buy one ??? Thanks.....:us:

It could be something as simple as a fuse or it could be the MFS (that's in the steering column, base of the turn-signal stalk) or it could be the wiper motor. Have you tried jumpering power to the wiper motor to see if it will run on it's own? Those MFS's are known to be problematic.

Thanks .... but is there a Intermittant Wiper controller somewhere near the ashtray under the dash ?? That's where the clicking noise is coming from when the wipers are on intermittant......

I am having the exact same problem. There is a click from the relay near the ash tray when intermitent is on, but nothing when on low or high. I was going to replace the motor, but the Windshield wipers have to be all the way up to disconnect the linkage and remove the motor. I got them to work briefly a while back so I'm thinking it may be the multi-function switch. That is what I'm going to try anyway. I will work on it this afternoon and see what I can find.
