I have a Superlift 6" recently installed, and I now have a driveshaft? vibration. My U-joints look OK, no play but my spline joint? has some play. When I engage the transfer case but not the hubs, I feel it under my feet. More of a grinding sound. If I engage the hubs and not the transfer case, the sound is still there. If I engage either the right or left hub and no transfer case, the sound is not there. The sound is bad at 40-50km/hr and over. If both hubs and transfer case are engaged it is still there.

Should I pull out the front driveshaft and test with the hubs locked? Anything else?

Thanks

Dale

Yes Dale pull the front driveshaft and see if it goes away. Also while you have the driveshaft out check the double cardan joint to see how smooth it operates. You may need to rebuild it if it feels crunchy.
