Fuel filler cap

The filler cap on my 2001 fits tightly in the space and is hard to remove. Anyone have a good source for one they like?

Most aftermarkets are Stant. If you wish to retain the strap, you'll want to go back to the dealer.

I'm not sure if it's the same but I just purchased a Motorcraft fuel cap for my 2000 because the aftermarket one that was on there was hard to get on and off.

I picked it up off of Amazon for about 17 bucks.

I bought a locking Stant brand gas cap for my 2005 Explorer and it works great and no problems with the seal or CEL's from it. I bought mine at Advance Auto Parts for around $18 over 3+ years ago.
