First Of all I want to Thank everybody for the great info that they post on this forum. I'm very thankful for this site.
I'm going to be replacing my fuel filler neck that I damaged a while back while prying it off while I was on a trip. I had a locked gas cap and lost the key. The plastic around the top of the neck cracked. My check engine light has been on for a while now and I've had enough of it. So I went out to the junk yard last week and got one. The question is when I take the hoses off from the bottom of the neck of my old one on my vehicle is it going to be under pressure. It has to hoses I guess one is the return and the other hose is to the tank, And should I run the tank down before replacing. I have just under a quarter of a tank right now.
Thanks in advance,
Russell
