Fuel Filter Removal.

Hello to all,
I have a 2003 Eddie Bauer 4x4 and am embarrassed to say I have never changeed the fuel filter in 89k miles. The engine is now skipping occasionally but has been coming out of it after driving a few miles. Any info on the fuel filter removal tool that is needed to remove this filter?

Check out the fuel filter removal thread.. Lots of good info and pictures. When using the tool it has to fully seat before it will release the garter springs inside. I was unable to do this with my hands and had to use needle nose pliers to do so..
