no no it is stuck past Full and i have drove 180 miles since last fill up and i Know it isn't that full lol. i wasnt' sure if it were a float or what the deal was on these Gen 2's

well... before you go pulling the tank and replacing the sender, do yourself a favor and pull the instrument panel and check to see if the gage is stuck physically.

not physically stuck cause when the key is off it goes down some. not fully but some. sigh guess it is pullin the tank for me

You say the gauge goes down some when you turn the Key off? If the gauge worked completely wouldn't it go down all the way? I would check the instrument panel first. Sounds like something is messed up there. I'm not sure what the device is that makes the needle move, but it could have been damaged or something like that. Just a thought. Pulling the Gas tank sucks.

yeah i def agree with you there. yeah it will fall to just under F like between F and 3/4 when i turn off the truck then when it has power ( i am assuming because the sending unit gets power ) it pegs out past full. only reason i figured it wasn't in the panel. pullin that dash isn't too fun either lol

if the needle is moving a bit with the key off (I don't think its supposed to drop to zero... mine doesn't... it reads pretty much the same as key on), then there is a likely chance that your float is "hung up" in your tank. good luck.

yeah i was hopin for it to drop. no such luck. maybe i should take it off road and romp the **** out of it lol. other than that it is time to drop the tank and get a new sendin unit and pump. sigh
