fuel pressure test guage

hey I wondering if someone could direct me to where to find a reasonably priced fuel pressure gauge tester that will work on a 2010 4.0L sohc engine.

will didn't get any response here so I did some further investigating. Amazon has one made by OTC for about $33 and it works with fords Schrader valves.

On the 2010 ford 4l I dont think there is a Schrader valve for fuel presssure on the rails or at least I havent found it on mine. You can check it with a obd2 scanner with the live data. Another place you could go is your local auto store like advance auto parts or autozone they do rent tools to you for free.

yea I think you maybe right. I was talking with a friend of mine, who is a long t mechanic, he said the same thing after some checking. I do have a scanner guess I need to run the live data on it. I could have sworn there was a pressure port tap on this engine glad I didn't buy the gauge appreciate the info and confirming this for me.

You all have Harbour Freight their. Should also carry something.

ELM327 module for the ODBII and various software from play store my read the pressure. I am not sure which ones will. A number a free and some have a trial period. FYI

I have Autolink AL319 that reads live data checked fuel pressure this am within specs just changed fuel filter yesterday cleared up the issue ... lucked out an easy fix.

Very good. Is the regulator within the fuel filter? It is on the 02 Explorer I know.
