Fuel Pump - Preventative Maintenance?

My 2006 V8 has ~130k on it, Is the fuel pump something you would do proactively? For those that have had a pump replaced, at what mileage did you need to have it done?

If you are concerned then just check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail and then you can determine if it is getting close to needing replacement.
Just make sure that you have changed the fuel filter in the last 30k miles or less or you will have a low result due to a dirty fuel filter.

I has same thoughts, but at 201k miles it still good.
