Ok my gauge went dead so I pulled the connector at the tank and determined the sender is bad. So Im going to replace the pump, sender, inlet assembly with new.
I did a search and didnt find the answers to these two questions.
1. Do new pump assemblies have the RFI built in, or does the RFI kit still need to be installed?- is it even available? If Im pulling the tank I going to do anything and everything while its out.
2. Is a higher higher volume pump available?- mustang pumps are a difficult modification from my search, Alec used a lightning pump- does anyone know if the lightning unit bolts right in and for what years? Part numbers?
For the V-8 swap guys what are you doing about the pumps in the early models? using the 4.0 pump, or switching it out? I didnt see anything in conversions about the pump itself. Are the v-8 pumps and the v-6 pumps the same, do they interchange?
OK I said 2 questions but ended up with many more- anyone help??
