While droping the fuel tank to get to the fuel pump I broke a connector. Does anyone know what it is? What it does? How vital it is? Where to get one? and does it matter?

I just taped off the connector to the new pressure sender, Put in the new fuel pump assembly and it runs just fine. no CEL light but does come up when you read for codes. no big deal. Ill get anther, Just sucks going to have to drop that tank again. It was such a *****.

Mrtim I recently replaced the filler neck in my '97. It was rusted out, and caused the check engine light to come on and fuel leakage. Easy to replace.
