Fuel pump wont come on help!!

i was changing my evap core and noticed they gave me the wrong one. so i was going to drive down to advance auto and get the right one. i went to start the truck to leave and noticed the fuel pump noise wasnt there(the quick electric hum when you turn the key) and the truck wont turn over. i checked the fuse and it was fine. i dont have an owners manual and idk if there is a relay and if so, which one it is, and how do i find out if its the pump or not. i tried to plug everything back in from the a/c unit and it still didn't start, thought maybe something pressure wise had to do with it. i need help please cause today is my only day off and i need to get my truck running again! thanks in advance for everyone's help and/or 2 cents!
