Alright guys I have a question for you hopefully someone can help my 2015 Pi you EcoBoost I noticed I have a hesitation at Full Throttle in 3rd gear between 4 and 5000 RPMs it's almost like the car is chugging. first thing I did was was pull all the plugs and replace them and I also checked all the coils I have no boost leaks. But what is weird if I put the shifter in the manual mode Go full throttle it does not hesitate at all it's just when it's in Drive.. I saw in forscan that I could do a transmission relearn but was a bit hesitant to do it beings this is a p i u and I can actually select the gears manually if I put the shifter in the manual mode it will not allow me to downshift and will only up shift at the max shift RPM which is fine if you're racing or running into it but I didn't want to hurt anything by trying to put it in a relearn mode and not being able to do what I saw the procedure showed going through each gear. Any help is greatly appreciated

You don't need Forscan to put the transmission in 'relearn' mode. If you wanted to try it, see below. I don't know if PIU models have their own dedicated Manuals or not.
From the 2015 Owner's Manual (retail);

Automatic Transmission Adaptive Learning
This feature is designed to increase durability and provide consistent
shift feel over the life of the vehicle. A new vehicle or transmission may
have firm shifts, soft shifts or both. This operation is considered normal
and will not affect function or durability of the transmission. Over time,
the adaptive learning process will fully update transmission operation.
Additionally, whenever the battery is disconnected or a new battery
installed, the strategy must be relearned.

The 'relearn' process can be initiated by just leaving the battery disconnected for a short time and then reconnecting it.

Hm well it's had the battery out of it before for over a week so it's obviously been relearned to my driving if that's the case.. it's an odd feeling I was thinking it was spark related until today when i changed the plugs and went for a test drive. And put it in manual mode it doesn't do it.. which I never noticed before. ( I don't usually put it in manual mode)

For some reason this use of Manual shifting to resolve an issue seems very familiar. I believe another member posted something similar a month or so ago.
