Full Time 4x4 grumble

Have an 02 V8 with the full time 4x4. At low speed turns from a stop I get a grumbling/chatter sound. Does this seem like a LSD problem?

I could never put a word to it but you are right, it is a grumble noise when 4x4 is kicked in.

So what kind of chatter are you hearing? I hear grumble when my 4x4 kicks in.

It makes the noise when 4x4 shouldn't be kicking in. Its on dry pavement when turning from a stop.

There is AWD and 4WD.

And how are you stating that you have "full time" 4x4 yet you say it "shouldn't be kicking in"?????
