Funny smell in center console?

My center console smells funny when i open it up. The truck mostly sits in the garage and I'm wondering if its from a mouse living underneath the console as many on here have had the same problem. I have seen mouse droppings in the garage and the smell in the console kind of smells like pee.
Any ideas???

Take the console out and search for signs of squirrels, mice, small children, or other small pests.

take his advice and take it apart, as we would not know what is living(or lack thereof) in Your truck.

Yeah, you'll also find remnants of change, petrified french fries, and in the case of my Ex during it's first initial cleaning after purchase- crochet hooks.

A few bolts, and a rubber mallet or a piece of wood and a sledge will get it loose for ya.

False alarm with the mouse urine or feces. I noticed I had a small bag with a few advil fron last year in the center console.

I decided to check anyway under the cup holder and two cubby holes. Nothing

I did find a dime and a sweet and low packet. I was hoping to find more change or even dollar bills, but no.
