Well I found out when my fuse to my OD button is blowing. If I am in drive and I decide to put it in reverse, when I first grab the shifter and just start to pull it towards me, that is when the fuse blows. What switch is inside the steering column that would be moving when you just start to move the shifter?

Things that make you go hmmmmmm

Have you changed tranny fluid since you bought this Barry?:D

lol^..does urs have lights that light up like D and OD 1 2 P...? or is urs the little orenge thing taht moves across the dash?

I did change the fluid over the weekend. I don't think it had been changed in a while. I will probably go with one of those external kits.

I did figure out the fuse problem last night. It is the wire in the shifter tube that is shorting out. I twisted the switch in the shifter tube so that it would move the wire inside and the problem has disappeared.....so far. Must be a short inside. Kind of a crazy place to have a problem....

I am going to change the plugs and wires this weekend and I should be ready to drive it through the winter. During the winter I am going to gather up what I need for a lift and tires....then the fun begins!!
