The front console accessory power point is not working on our 2006 Explorer. I read the post about the fuse location for the 2003 Explorer, which said that the fuse of the 2003 is under the hood in the high-power fuse box, but the manual for the 2006 does not match the 2003 manual, so I thought maybe the fuse locations don't match, either. If the fuse for our APP is in the main fuse box under and to the left of the steering wheel, which fuse is it, and how do you open the fuse box? If the fuse is with the high-voltage fuses, we may take the truck to the dealer to fix because we don't want to get in trouble. The back APP works fine.

My niece has our 1997 Explorer, with almost 300,000 miles on it and never a serious problem!

Thank you for your help!

I feel pretty dumb. I read the very next page in the manual, and it said the fuse for the front APP is fuse 25 in hte fuse bank under the hood. Sure enough, that one was blown.

I was surprised that no one answered my post. Did I ask too many questions, or did all of you know the answer, and knew I would find it myself?

I missed this post, but I'm glad you found the fuse. I had to replace the same fuse a while ago.
