im runnin 2 12in type r's and a cadence txa1000d at 1000rms@1ohm i think it has a built-in fuse with a 3 farad cap i have a 200amp circuit breaker by the batt what size fuse should i put by the amp???oh and im usin 2ga wire

The factory supplies a 60 amp one with the TXA-750D which puts out 600 watts RMS so a good bet would be a 100 amp fuse for the TXA-1000D
 












still works out to 100 amp fuse in this situation
 












if the amp has an internal fuse than don't worry about it.

also a fuse does not "put out" power...it passes current.

i was thinkin 10 amps per 100 watts

inline fusing is based on the size of the wire...not the power of the amp.
 












Why is that...some amps have the fusing inside.

Does the same thing as having the fuses on the side of the amp.

Please enlighten me on how two fuses right next to each other would be beneficial???
