garage door opener

My wife and I purchased a 2007 Ford Explorer that had every option available with the exception of chrome rims and four wheel drive. It did not have an owners manual with it for whatever reason. They did give me a 2008 manual and I assumed it would be the same since there were not any major changes between 07 and 08. I have the built in garage door opener in my '07 but I can not find it anywhere in the '08 owners manual how to program it. Can anyone tell me how to program the garage door opener.

It is in the owners manual starting on page 115 in the Owners manual, 3rd printing for 2008. In the 2007 Manual it starts on page 103.

If you have an earlier printing (maybe they forgot it... It happens) and it isn't in there (It's called 'Homelink') you can look at the above manuals listed, online, Dead Link Removed
