I hope I'm not the only one that has had this problem, but after filling up my '97 XLT with a full tank of gas, I've noticed that the gas gauge is staying at full or slightly below it, to the 3/4 tank mark. Now it'd be great if this were due to great mileage, but I seriously doubt its the case...I've done too much driving around town, back and forth to campus, interstate driving, for there to still be as much fuel as is indicated since my last fill-up. I will say this...about a year ago my speedometer went out so I replaced it with a new gauge cluster...could it be that now my gas gauge has crapped out on me? What makes it even worse is that since I've replaced the cluster the odometer doesn't work so I can't even tell how many miles I've gone! Haha wow I have the best luck sometimes. I'm hoping it's a blown fuse or a minor fix...not something that'll break the bank. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know, thanks in advance!
