Gas Leak

Hi I'm new here..I'm deaf .I just brought 1998 Ford Explorer few days ago from someone. I need some help with something. when i start my 1998 ford explorer and there was a gas leak spout out from under the motor. Any idea where it come from?

A fuel line damaged by squirrels most likely. Welcome to the board.

What I mean is where do I find the leak come from....where do I look cuz I need to know and so I can try to find and see if it need to be fix or replace it.

Get underneath, below the driver's door, and look in the frame for the fuel filter. Follow the line towards the engine. I have twice seen this attacked by vermin, I don't know what they like about it, but gas caps on lawn mowers is another favorite.
