gas mileage

Just for comparison: I have a 94 XLT drove it on a weekender, mostly flatland freeway roughly 77/MPH. Total trip miles was about 430. I averaged 18.5 mpg. anyone one else doing much better than that? Truck is stock, well maintained. Wanted to know how others were doing.

I have an '02 'X' Sport 4x2 5 speed manual, 3.73 rear gear, 4.0 SOHC,, blah blah blah..... has 6500miles on it as of yesterday, averages 19.3.... most of the time... best was 21.4mpg. I am pleased.

I have a '96 Eddie Bauer with 4.10LSD. My highest MPG was 18.31. I know I have a fairly low gear ratio so I'm not even gonna complain about it.

all you guys in SUVs so far get better gas mileage than my car

18.5 mpg is about right, I also have a 94, 4x4,
3.27 gears and that's about the mileage I get on the highway.
