Gauge Help

I got my new gauge overlays and am starting the install on Sunday. My question is for all of you that already have done something like this. What did you connect the power wire and ground wire to in the dash, so the light switch still turns on the gauges????

I just figured I would ask now and save myself a couple of hours trying to figure out where to splice into.

I connected my power wire to the parking light fuse in the fuse box (this way mine come on with the parking lights, you could do the same with the headlight if you wanted them to come on with the headlights only). As for the ground after you take of the lower plastic panel below the steering wheel there is a metal plate. that is where I attatched my ground.
