Gauge question

[FMNavajo]

After turning my truck off all the gauges except the voltage gauge stay at the level they were when the truck was running. If I turn my key on, engine not running, the oil pressure gauge will go to 0 but the Fuel and temp gauge stay were they are??

Is this normal on a 92" model Navajo/Explorer
