Hi all , I have my Xplorer since a month and after a good check up on the engine i found that when i put the pedal on the floor , the throttle plate is not open at maximum . It open a bit more half way .

How could i fix it ?

Common problem. The throttle cable has stretched. Two ways to fix it. Either replace the throttle cable, or just "shorten" the existing one by putting a couple of zip ties between the end of the cable and the gas pedal. We've had problems with some members on the Ranger forums saying that the TC (Throttle Cable) mod "broke their rig". The issue is, if the cable has stretched, it is showing signs of failure, and should be replaced. Again, it could have been their fault by making it too tight. Either way, I've done it to every vehicle I've owned (in one form or another) and its always worked for me!
