gears for me ?

i was wondering what new gears would do for me? i have 33s on me x and i go off roading every now and then. and i would realy like to still get ok mph becouse its my daliy driver so whats the thoughts


oh ya i have a code of 41 =3.27 no non slip auto tran with overdrive. help

4.10 or 4.56 gears will make it feel like a whole new truck! It will almost feel like you have a permanent shot of nitrous

I recommend Randy's Ring and Pinion. They should be professionally installed.

I also recommend getting some sort of traction aid at least for the rear (locker, good ls).

For gears, parts, install, and a rear locker you're probably looking at around $1200-1300 for both axles.

If you need some info on regearing NAK4AF is putting 4.56 gears in his 93 Sport. We are going to be swapping out his 3.73's in front and rear and adding an Aussie locker to the front and rebuilding the LS in rear.

If you can't afford to go all out on the re-gearing I would suggest getting the rear carrier swapped from an Open carrier to a LS and you can pick up some 3.73's cheap. But you will have to do front and rear. I see the 3.73's on Ebay quite often for reasonable prices.

Chris will be taking his truck to Ft Rich's hobby shop to do all the work so unless you are military it would be difficult to come watch.

to tell the truth i am militery that is what the numbers in my user id stand for . and at fort rich hobby shop is where i met nak4af and he told me about this sight . isnt that cool when are you two goint there i was wanting to get some 4.10 or 3.73 and put them in there at the hobby shop . whaat do you think ?

I think i am going to go with the 4.10 becouse of the mpg i am going to be gon in june 16 untill septeber 12 so i wont see you here in a bit but i will try and se if i can figur out how to post pics of my x it looks a lot beter then it use to . i will give you a yell for some help to get those gears on if you can help?

Maybe a mute point, but just so you know, you have to re gear both ends, front and rear.
