Folks,

I am new to this forum and I need help with this issue. I have a 2006 Ford Explorer Limited V8. 96,000 and it is very difficult to shift from park to drive (an interminent problem that is getting worse). I poped the cover to access the manual over ride swtich so I can drive it but I want to fix the problem. After reading similar posts (could not find one post with the exactly same problem here, so I think this is new) went to the dealer to see it my vin number had a recall for the circuit board: they said no. So, now I am in between replacing the board part # 7E096 or the BSI switch part # 7J437. But my question is: each one should I replace or could there be something else causing this problem?

On another issue, the dual control heater/AC is blowing cold air on the passenger side while hot air on the driver's side. Is it something else or the "Blend door" problems of the past Explorers?

Thanks in advance for any help.
Sergio
