Gem ? Pcm ? Ecm?

Whats the difference between the Gem (General electronic module) Pcm ( Powertrain control module) and Ecm (electronic control module) How are each reset? I have a 99 sohc 4x4 sport.

The GEM is what controls most of the things inside your truck, lights, windows, doorlocks, stereo etc. the PCM and ECU are two name for the same unit that controls all the functions of your motor. You really only ever have to reset the ECU and you can do that by disconnecting your battery for 30 minutes.
