Gen 1 X Apten install

Hello everyone, I need some help. I have installed the Apten diablo chip and everything works great but I need your help in finding a suitable location to mount the switch and LED. Here is a pic of where I wanted to mount them but am afraid the material is too thick to install them and didn't want to put a hole in my dash for nothing. Anybody got any ideas? Right now they are tied in place where the ashtray should be.

sometimes there is a hole in the glove box frame that the switch will fit right thru. Look under the glovebox, or even at the brackets under the drivers side.

I have someone that is going to do an install article for a gen 1, but it probably won't be that far for a week.

What do you need that switch for? To turn your chip ON/OFF?

The chip I bought from Brian (Apten) is a diablo chip. There is a program for 91 octane, 87 octane and "off". There are a variety of other programs you can get on it and the switch is required for selecting between which program I wish to use.
