gen1, gauge lights help

hi!

i about have my gauges out, and since i have a few lights out, i figure i might as well change them all, i'm looking for a little help, are they all the all the same size? how many of each size? and what is best to put in clear color, stock or led? cost may be a bit of thought if led are alot

Go here http://www.sylvania.com/auto/carapp/ it will tell you the part number of all the lights in your Explorer. Then you can go from there about what to get (color, LED, standard, etc.) I have been told from my local Ford dealership that LED lights will burn the wiring in the harness. I have LED turn signals and tail/brake lights in my Explorer. Have had them for about 8 months now; havent seen anything happen yet.
