aftermarket gauge lights

I have a 94 explorer. I have lights I wanna wire into the headlight system for the gauges. I got a water temp and oil gauge. I got the temp gauge hooked up for the light. my question is can i tap the oil gauge unit light in with the water temp light? I have the wire running from the parking light on the drivers side for the water temp.

You should be fine tapping into the headlight switched power circut for the dash light. The aftermarket gauge lights probably don't draw enough amps to worry about, especially if they are LEDs.
