just be carefull when lookin for and expedition them 5.4 motors are known to blow spark plugs straight out of there holes!! ive done like 4 motor jobs in 2000+ expeditions and all with the same problem! just somethin to keep in mind
...as others have said here, there is definitely not enough room behind the third row on the explorer for a stroller. HOWEVER, nobody has mentioned that this is also the case for the expedition. It also has VERY little room behind the third row.
If you plan on putting people in all three rows of seats and need to have room for anything more than some small grocery bags in the back you need to go with an Expedition EL or if buying used an Excursion. These are both bascially your ford equivalent of the large GMC Suburban.
As for gas mileage, the 2007 expedition EB my folks have gets about the same mileage as my 2007 explorer EB. I'm sure that would change when you loaded it up with people, gear, and tow a car.
