Have you checked fuel pressure at 1st start up to see if the pressure is coming up like it should?

Nope my dad still hasn't found his fuel pressure tool. Will end up just buying one most likly. I can feel my fuel filter is somewat clogged and that makes sense on fuel pressure.how do I replace the fuel filter?

I had this issue.. replaced the fuel pump and filter (the usual fix for slow starting) it didn't help, fuel pressure was still low when i turned the key.. so i replaced the pressure regulator.. pressure still sucked, so i replaced the pump AGAIN... pressure still sucked... then i replaced the fuel pump relay and problem solved!

i'd say it's most likely the fuel pump.. if that doesn't fix it, replace the relay as well.

Ouch, that was an expensive relay!
