1999 ford ranger 4x4 3.0 liter. I had my transmission shop install the Superior shift kit and I reinstalled the valve body myself also installed a new epc and the updated bracket for the solenoids with a new bonded Separator plate. To my surprise when I started the truck no reverse. It had a rev lag before but not any rev at all till you turn up the rpm then bag it goes in I suspect a press leak somewhere. So went back in replaced the rev piston orings and gasket no change did adjust the bands and got overdrive lock up back that was missing but no rev still! After looking at the kit on this site I see it includes the rev piston double oring that I did not get and the epc connecter to boost the pressure. So these were not installed if it makes a Difference. I just bought the truck about a week ago it has 150,000 on it. its clean 4 door and got a good price on it because of the trany problem so looks like i will have it rebuilt being a fleet maneger for a traffic control company i dont want to work on my own vehicles at all since I work on all the trucks all day!! So what I would like to know is there any particular parts I should have them include in this rebuild like the sonnax boost valve and so on... your input would be greatly appreciated thank you Jerry
