2003 Ford explorer
Hello,
I am so excited about finding this site. I have an 03 Ford Explorer that needs some work. I bought it form a private dealer who took advantage of me. I guess he thought it was appropriate to rob the single mom. ;) Anyway, right now I have a front hub, brakes and rotors to replace. Later, I have to replace the pressure cylinoid, and the tires and rims. I a pretty confident that I can replace the hub and brakes, but I will definitely be looking for a garage for the cylinoid. This is going to be a great project for my son and I. I figure that since his dad's not around, he has to learn sometime. It's been parked for months, so why not learn on it? Well, wish me luck. I'm sure that once we start, I will be asking lots of questions.

Welcome to this forum! Your son could start his own account on this site, and read the advice, sticky threads, and how to threads to repair almost everything. How old is he? Where are you located? I'm sure that there are members in every state that would be willing to help you if necessary.

Thanks for your response. My son is 14 and we are located in Syracuse NY. I didn't notice if there was an age requirement for this site, so if there is I will give him my log in. If not, then he will make his own. Thanks for that great idea.
