You would have made Airstrip look easy too, if you would have had a locker in the rear. Your drivers side rear tire wasn't spinning to get you up a ledge.

Saturday afternoon, I broke my passenger side half shaft in the wrong place on a 4+ rated trail called Wile E. Coyote.
Unfortunetly, I had forgotten my spare half-shafts at home.
Against my better judgement I drove my truck without the end of a half shaft in it.

Now I definitely know for sure that SLA IFS 4x4 Explorers have to have the outer piece the half shaft to hold the hub assembly together.

Lessons learned:
1. Don't leave home without your spares.
2. Don't hesitate to call a friend to bring you your spares.
3. Listen to the voices in your head.
4. My friend Bill, that will be helping me fix my truck said, that the axle probably broke where it did, because the axle nut holding it on wasn't tightened all the way that it could be.

Good pic, funny stuff man! John, did it take you guys a little while to get your truck on the trailer? We took brians off and I ended up driving it for a while and got f'in pulled over by a trooper so that slowed Brian and I down a bit. We got home and about 4ish.

No it didn't take long once I got a nut to fit the long bolt and washers that we used to keep the tire/wheel attached to the knuckle.
