at work we use Dayton Timberline L/T's, they wear well, available from firestone places, good traction and low noise. I'm buying the A/T's based on my experience at work.
Kuhmo is considered a good inexpensive brand, My father has them on his tribute and they work fine and hold up well.
www.tirerack.com has reviews and prices, maybe looking there you can narrow it down to what your looking for in terms of performance and so forth. Since you are highway mostly, I'd look for the most affordable wet/dry performance tire you can get, from my experience of Florida anyway. good luck and let us know what you pick!
