I currently have a 1994 Explorer with a 187,000 on the clock.. It's in good running shape, but I'm just planning ahead. It's got the 5 speed manual.. When this one goes (knock on wood) I plan on replacing it w/ another 4.0.. But I want to go w/ an automatic this time. What am I looking at doing here? Is this a huge hassel? Because if it is, I will just stick another 5 speed in it. But if not, I'd like to have an automatic. What needs to be done or modified to do this change? Thanks.
