got jet pullies...anyone actually have them?
Hey, My parents bought me some JET pullies for christmas, part number 90103....but after looking around the forum about them...i'm beginning to wonder if anyone actually has gotten them to work. I read somewhere tonight that the waterpump pulley has a hole that is way way to small for the fan shaft. So i went and compared my two pullies and sure enough. Jet's is about 1/2" diameter and fords is like 1 1/2" 's. Also, my stock crank/dampner pulley is enourmous compared to the JET. Which makes me think that I need the extra size to dampen any crank vibrations. All in all it looks like I got about a $90 alternator pulley that probably wouldn't do a thing by itself. Let me know what you guys think or if you have an opinion. Why in the world would JET sell these over the years if they do not work?
