Is there a thread that lists engine modifications, gives what sort of HP/TRQ you gain, price, and where to buy from?

That would be great. I've saved up a little cash and wanted to do some engine modifications but not sure where to start.

Or a post of modifications to improve the life of your engine/tranny, such as what oil to run, any maintainence that should be done, etc.

Haven't seen you in a while man.

What kind of mods are you looking for, cheapies like filter, catback, tb, chip, etc?

KKM filter/airbox: $90 www.kustomz.com
Custom Catback exhaust: $200 Leonard's mufflers off 183
BBK 66mm TB: $200 www.truckperformance.com
Chip: varied: $150-300

Those are the "stage 1" power mods. Each improves throttle response and gives a little power/tq. Together, maybe 10hp/tq at the wheels (maybe).

As for longevity, many recommend switching to synthetic fluids (I change mine religiously, so am still running dino oils), a tranny cooler, maybe a tranny shift kit. There was also a thread a while ago how a second tranny filter helped a lot.
