Possibly might be going to look at a Explorer again, aslong as it sounds like what I'm looking for condition wise, and if the seller sends me their phone number and address in time! here's the rundown. Hopefully this time I come back with it!

1998 Ford Explorer XLT.

5.0L V8 2WD.

72,000 Miles.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I have sent the seller 3 emails to date. They failed to include their phone number in the ad. I have received no emails or phone calls. If you are selling something you'd better check your messages.

To good to be true. The guy wants me to go ahead and pay for it though ebay, before I even look at it, he says it protects us both. I say I'll come look at it and pay cash if I decide I want it, multiple times I asked for his phone number, he never gives it or address's it. I've found one at a dealer 80miles from here I'm probably going to try to look at it this weekend. This one is a

I hope they will go down to atleast 5,500 out the door on it, otherwise I probably won't be buying it. What do you all think? They put 2 new tires on the front of it, they don't match fronts are black wall, rears are micheline white letter, also looks like there is a ding on the hood, and a stain on the carpet in the back seat which I was not able to post that picture. That's all I can tell from the pictures provided.

I just picked up a 97 xl all manual for $750 bit it has almost 200k on it but it runs great. So there are deals to be had just keep an eye out.

I'm going to go look at it tommorow. The price was $6000 + 7% Tax + $185 for Tag + $400 Dealer fee, out the door = $7005. I got them to go down to a out the door price of $5435. I'd prefer $5000 or less but this isn't horrible I don't think.

I'm also looking. I have two to look at tomorrow. One is a '99 Limited with 80k that is 15 miles away. And a '00 Limited that is 100 miles away [but it looks like it's worth it]. I'm trading in my '94 Explorer.

Are you sure that gray Explorer has the 5.0? I think 5.0s only came with AWD. No 4x4 or 2wd. if it's an AWD, mismatched tires are bad.
