I am debating if i should get this X or not. It is a '96 xlt w/ 96000mi and had a light roll. Only dammage was some top skin dammage. didnt even break the sun roof and minor quarter pannel dents. This would be my first SUV and first domestic. My main concern on this is the miles. Is this alot of miles for an X or will it last well into the 100000's. Just seeing what the rest of the life would be on this baby. Also i have no clue about if they are highway miles and what not. I am getting this from a friend who owns a late model rebuilder "shop" and he got this beauty in. and i am 16 if that depends on how long the life would be. The price is right i think  . Sorry for the newb questions and rambling i do that alot. Thanks in advance. If pics would help just give me your email addy and i will email em to you im not so sure how to post them on here yet

I have 186,000 miles on my 92 ex sport 5spd 4.0 :D

I have 196,000 on my 91 auto 4dr.

Joe...........

If the price is right i'd grab it. I got mine with 96,000 on it as well. Im well passed that now and have had no major problems. As long as you take care of the truck it should last you. What i meen by take care of it, is do your regularley schedualed maint.

would be kinda cool if it turned out to be my old x. it was a green eb 96 with 96000 miles when i rolled it. very little damage, except the rear right side roof pushed in a bit, and rear axle was twisted. how much is it up for?

he wants $3200 for it which seems fair to me. Im pretty sure its not an eddie bauer edition but i could be wrong... Also thanks for all the replies. Now its time to convice my dad to let me buy it :D

sounds like a good deal. as long as there is no frame damage, other stuff can be replaced. good luck

well seems luck isnt on my side again and my father wont work with me and let me use all the money from my old car for this one so i am short on funds. I now have to wait until summer or maybe even later. Thanks for all of the help though.
