I have a set of MTRs on my Ranger. I have ober 25,000 miles on them. I should ge maybe another 25,000 with luck and regular 5,000 mile rotation and balances. On dry pavement they are nothing special. They make some noise on the highway, but it is a beautyful noise. In my opinion, they are best on gravel roads. They do very well on soft sand, air down to about 28 psi and dont get stuck and dont have to air up. They also do very well in mud. Usually dont have to use four wheel drive. The drawback of this tire is cost.

I've got a set of 33" MT/R's and I love them. I had a set of 32" BFG AT's on her before. They are great in the mud, snow, and on rocks. I don't drive the Explorer every day so I couldn't tell you about the millage.

I agree with everybody else. The only downside is that they are heavier than other tires of the same size. Probably due to the fact that they are a 5 ply tread/3 ply sidewall tire. Other than that, a very good tire overall.

I have 32's...love them...they have very stiff side walls. Very good self cleaning.
