UPDATE::: Well, i dumped the old amp and bought a new lightning audio 600 watt 2ch amp. last night I tried to hook it up 2 different ways. 1) +- from right and left to a convertor then a/c plugs to the amp. that produced bass but still was not getting the whole rang of bass. sooo 2)then I tried useing the hi input conection wires that came with the amp . these wires then bypass the convertor so I dont have to use it. that gave me a clearer sound (bass). well, the system sounds better then it did, but there still is a problem, the subs only hit bass when its a high type or blnt hit of base. the base that hits with a low thump and makes an echo is not there. before I replaced the stock radio that burnt out with a new stock radio of the same model these subs would hit all the levels of bass.
Tonight I plan on ripping out the old speaker wire and replace it with better thicker wire. maybe i'll run +- from the front speakers to the back for the amp.maybe that will help. god, this is aggrevating. If anybody has any other ideas of what I should do. please help. and if anyone knows of a website that can explain the basics of system setup, box building and everything else that has to do with systems. please let me know, i want to learn about this stuff. Im tired of just pokeing around in the dark. well you know what I mean. thanks. KP
