Picked up a free 96 Ranger (3.0L V6) this weekend. Has some issues but it does run so that's a start.
The truck had a CEL on when I got it. Brought it to Autozone to have the codes pulled and got multiple O2 sensor codes. O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction codes for each of the three O2 sensors (P0130, P0136, and P0150 I believe if I remember correctly). Also got an 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction for one of the sensors as well.
Sounds like an electrical issue to me. Haven't had the time to check the wiring for the O2 sensors but I'm assuming they all meet up somewhere.
Anyone else had a problem like this? Wondering if the O2 sensor harness got messed up somehow. Truck runs fine and idles well so it's not acting like the sensors are all messed up.
Any ideas?
