no to transfer all my audio form my blazer over to this, oh man cant wait...

before i go mess with it can anyone give some heads up on how to take apart the dash to get to the cd player, how to get the door frame off and where some people ran RCA's and remote wires at? i think im running power wire under the vehicle, because i dont even want to know how hard it will be to run multiple strands of 1/0awg wire on the inside without it being know

First of all, beautiful pics! Mine is just like it only a year older, 35K miles more and silver haha. Are you the bamaboy from soundillusions? I've seen you there before, know you had a badass setup in your blazer...

but anyways, getting the cd player out is quite easy, take a flathead screwdriver or something similar and pop off the plastic trim around the cd player/ac controls and whatnot. there will be some clips all around it, just be careful, it pops out hard but if you do it carefully it's really not that difficult. the cd player should slide right out...

I ran the RCA's behind the cd player out the right side of the dash then underneath the carpet to the back of the vehicle. I gave up at the second row seat and have them on top of the trim panels on the floor cuz i didn't want to have to take out the seats and get under everything...if that makes any sense...if not you'll see what i mean when you start to take it apart...

Right now I did the same thing with my ONE run of 1/0 gauge and ran it on the left side underneath the carpet to the second row seat where it's on top of the trim thingy to the cargo area. but yeah it would be difficult to get more than one run of 1/0 under there. good luck and nice truck!

yea thats me off soundillusions/carstereos.org, i dont go over the much, just check up on the RE forum

so cd player should be easy, now i just need to go gett the kit and see how i can mount my 1/2 din epic160 under the HU, im guessing the little tray comes out and i can fit the epic in , i dont really know since i havnt looked at the kit in person, only pics of one

i also need to see if i canstuff the bain in the dash or if its going to have to go in the back, either way im going to have to run a ton of wires :(

1/0 might come up under the 2nd row seat or might come up in the back, have to see whats easiest

some daytime pics

Man, that is a sharp ride! You have the appearance package like mine! If you get rid of that rear cargo shade...let me know! I could use one! LOL

Looks good...can't wait to see the sound system swap!
