I just got a new amp A2150HCX and I only paid $100 for it. its not brand new but i got it from some rich guy that had it in his mercedez and his remote wire had come loose so the amp wasnt powering up and being the rich kid he was he just decided to sell me the amp for $100, i think i made out pretty well. My question is, is there any way i can wire this amp to my sub (Aw1500x) which is 4 ohm DVC and get the correct amount of power? I asked this once before but i still do not understand it, i am planning on getting another 15 and this amp puts out 1200 watts at 1 ohm bridged. Can i wire 2 15's with 4 ohm DVC and get 600 watts a piece? If so, how? thanks a lot for your help.

what are the power ratings on the amp? what is max/rms? by how many channel? stable at what load? etc.....

Provided the information you've given is correct...YES you can wire it in parallel to get a 1 ohm load on the amp. on the subs, just wire the +'s to +'s and -'s to -'s. to one terminal. then wire BOTH positives to the amp and BOTH negatives to the amp. Your amp will then see a 1 ohm load.

Peace!

Just an observation: If he's rich, why did he need $100.00? Especially if you are his friend.
